Castle Fire Continues with Sequoia National Forest Closure! September 28,2020 Fishing OK in Town and Lower Kern River and Lake Crowley!

20 Mile Section between Kernville and Riverkern continues to fish excellent. This section is about 4 miles of river to the forest service border. Anglers are doing well in this section with Yellow Sallie Nymphs under a Fuzzy Wuzzy and various Buhler Bros Flies. Trout are coming up and hitting the dry but most fish are eating the Yellow Sallie.

Lower Kern River continues to rock for smallmouth and largemouth bass on the fly. Book a trip and float with us down on the Lower Kern for smallmouth. Check out these photos from some of our trips.

Remember, we are now booking trips on Lake Crowley for big trout. Give us a call or book a trip online. All the guide trips are done from a boat. This is a great trip for beginners as the fishing is usually really good.
